LEARN YOUR CRAFT. LOVE YOUR WORDS.
Scenes are the basic building blocks of story. Novels, memoirs, and stories, as well as newsletters, blogs, and essays all rely on the power of memorable, compelling scenes in order to draw readers in and move them through a meaningful narrative experience. But many scenes 1) meander, or 2) they are thin, or 3) they lack truly transformative dramatic action.
In this webinar, we will cover the four key strategies you need to build powerful scenes. You’ll discover how to incline and sequence scenes to build an effective story.
This information-rich presentation will provide writers with a handy scene template, strategies for creating a scene-drawing process, and a set of no-fail prompts and resources for further study.
