Learn the difference between telling details and failed details, and how we can locate our literary urgency inside our obsessions. How do obsessions both intensify our storylines and exult in the tangle of tangents? How can our exploration yield new truths and forge unexpected connections? How can we make the best use of our own obsessions—finding, in our personal fascinations, a universal story?
